Kristin O'Sullivan

Kristin believes in personal attention, relentless advocacy and results-driven representation. She is an accomplished professional dedicated to protecting the rights of her clients. A passionate advocate focused on efficient and effective resolution of her clients' cases, Kristin has successfully handled hundreds of cases including DUIs, misdemeanor drug charges, traffic offenses and serious felonies.

Kristin studied Criminal Justice at Washington State University. After college, Kristin continued to pursue her interest in criminal justice at Gonzaga University School of Law. During law school, Kristin worked for the Northwest Defenders Association in Seattle. While at the Northwest Defenders Association, she successfully challenged the constitutionality of Seatbelt Regulation RCW 46.61.688.

Kristin graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law and began prosecuting for the Spokane County Prosecutor's Office in the property crimes unit. She then joined the Benton County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in Richland, Washington. As a prosecutor, Kristin developed a reputation as a fair and talented trial lawyer. Kristin's experience as a prosecutor gives her the valuable perspective of what is required to prove the state's case against criminal offenders. This knowledge helps Kristin analyze her clients' cases and argue for the best possible result.

Kristin transitioned from prosecution to criminal defense when she moved to Western Washington and joined a premier DUI Defense firm. Since then Kristin has focused her practice on assisting those charged with DUI's and other criminal driving offenses. Kristin believes people charged with crimes are entitled to respect and dignity. She understands the criminal justice system and tenaciously works to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

Continued training is an essential aspect of effective advocacy. Kristin has attended numerous trial advocacy training courses as well as legal seminars dedicated to the aggressive and effective defense of DUI.

Kristin was born and raised in Western Washington. She is an avid traveler, enjoys the outdoors and Cougar sports. Her interests in friends, family and career indicate her depth of character and loyalty to her pursuit of excellence.
